Standard Appraisals

AFA Appraisal Service is a full service automobile appraisal and audit company. We provide standard field appraisal services with a quick turnaround. Our internal standards are 24-hour contact with the vehicle owner and 48 hour inspection and appraisal. If we are unable to meet these goals your adjuster will be notified of any delays. Each assignment can be submitted via your company’s own assignment method, Process Claims, emailed or faxed directly.

 

DOI Appraisal Re-Inspect

The Department of Insurance (DOI) often requires that a vehicle being repaired by an auto shop be re-inspected either during or after the repair. AFA is prepared to re-inspect any vehicle according to the guidelines set for the by the DOI.

 

Subrogation Review

AFA specializes in auditing subrogation demands to ensure that all charges are legitimate and accurate. Our trained staff will negotiate with the claimant’s company to reach an agreed price and will create a review sheet to reflect that amount.

 

Desk Audit

As part of administering a claim, AFA Appraisal Service provides trained phone auditors/reviewers to contact the selected repair vendors and negotiate a price for needed repairs. Once this information is negotiated, it is immediately reported back to the assigned adjuster or reviewer.

 

DRP/PPO Shop Review

AFA Appraisal Service provides reviews/audits of DRP/PPO estimates. If there are any discrepancies in the estimate, the reviewer will call the shop to reach an agreeable price based on guidelines provided by the insurance company.

 

DRP/PPO Shop Management

Among the most valuable services provided by AFA Appraisal Service is our DRP/PPO shop management program. This unique program fully manages your company’s program by providing you with a list of all approved PPO shops in your service area, assisting you in setting your shop guidelines, making sure shops adhere to the guidelines you set, locating and approving shops in areas where you need more coverage, and re-inspecting shops on an as-needed basis to ensure overall quality.
