In-Person Statements

As part of our commitment to our clients’ bottom line, our field staff can obtain in-person statements from the claimant, witnesses, and other involved personnel on claims of all kinds, if fraud is detected. We will pay special attention to the accuracy and consistency of information presented and whether the information presented indicates fraud in the claim.

 

Canvassing

In determining the validity and legitimacy of a claim, canvassing can be highly effective, if carried out by a professional. Our trained investigators utilize the latest in techniques and technology to scrutinize the behaviors and actions of the claimant in an effort to decipher whether there is truth to the claim.

 

Clinic Inspection

Today’s health care system is among the greatest playgrounds for insurance fraud. Doctors and clinics may exaggerate or falsify the information that they report to you, the insurance company. AFA’s investigators are trained in the complex process of clinic inspection and know where and how to identify medical insurance fraud.

 

SIU Investigations

One of the most important services we offer is our special investigation unit (SIU). Because insurance fraud is ever-prevalent, many states now require that carriers offer fraud identification and training techniques.
